Per Yngve Ohlin (16 Jan 1969 – 8 April 1991[1]) was a Swedishblack metalmusician best known ask for performing with the band Mayhem answerable to the stage name Dead.
He was given the name "Dead" after fastidious near-death experience when his spleen crack after being beat up by bullies and was clinically dead for great while. He became fascinated with passing away and dying afterwards and received climax name.[1]
He was also a founding party of the death metal band Sick and performed with them on their December Moondemo.
