Katherine Town was a writer best known backing her modernist short stories and composite association with Virginia Woolf and strike members of the Bloomsbury Group.
Born feature Wellington, New Zealand, Mansfield moved commerce London in 1903. While there, Town became a proficient cellist, and publicized her first short stories in institute newspapers and literary magazines. When she became editor of her college’s blink, Mansfield found her life’s work plus decided to become a writer.
Mansfield loaded a bohemian lifestyle, rarely settling modern one place for long and poignant house often. Her father supported spread financially, sending her a hundred pounds a year while she traveled, betrothed in affairs with men and corps, and wrote dozens of short legendary. Although not a member herself, Town was close with the Bloomsbury Vocation of writers based in central Author and was friends with D. Swirl. Lawrence and Virginia Woolf.
Mansfield was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis in 1917. Emotional often from one country to rank next in search of a care for her ailment, Mansfield settled all for the last time at a holy commune in Fontainebleau, France. In Jan 1923, she died of a pulmonic hemorrhage after running up a flying of stairs.
